内容简介:
What is modernity? This question is in focus for all classical sociologists. The answers, and perspectives of course differs, but the question is actually the same. The presentation will give a sociological background to the question and the move forward to discuss Sweden as a case regarding construction of a modern society. The presentation will especially focus on the combination of a new paradigm in aesthetic, ethic and politics and how these new paradigm come together in a modern project.
报告人简介:
Jan Olof Nilsson,Department of Sociology, Lund University. Sweden .After the PhD dissertation at the Department of Sociology, Lund University, he had a research project on Gunnar Myrdal and the American connection. He has also been responsible for several, both national and European Union, projects regarding internationalisation strategies for higher education. He has also been manager for several exchange programs, and has been in the board at Lund University for Erasmus Mundus programs. He has been China coordinator for Lund University, and director for European University Center at Peking University. He has also been responsible for the teacher education in social studies. He has been responsible for the Nordic studies course at Fudan University for several years, and given several lectures at Peking University.Right now he has partly sabbatical for writing, and partly teach sociology at the department and teacher education.
